Position Type/Hours:

Full-time position, In Office position. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

 

Position Purpose:

IT Support Specialist assists overall information systems planning, implementation, and administration in a variety of IT functional areas, including hardware, software, and networks. This role also involves assisting users with complex support challenges and participating actively in various IT projects and initiatives.

 

 

Essential Functions:

•             Provide advanced technical support, effectively diagnosing and resolving second-level support issues.

• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize hardware, software applications, and networking equipment.

• Administer and maintain user accounts and security permissions within Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

• Assist in cybersecurity initiatives, performing regular security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and basic threat mitigation.

• Actively contribute to IT projects, including infrastructure enhancements, software deployments, and technology upgrades.

• Document detailed procedures, processes, and troubleshooting steps to maintain comprehensive IT knowledge.

Education and Experience: 

  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Azure AD, and fundamental networking concepts
  • Experience with cybersecurity monitoring tools and vulnerability management
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an IT support role

Salary Range:
 $66,000 - $77,000 per year (DOE - Depending on Experience)
