As a Credit Support Analyst in the Private Bank Client Service Group you will be responsible for analyzing, processing, and preparing capital call and distribution requests for our Professional Loan Program (PLP). The PLP offers tailored loan programs that enable employees of our private equity and venture capital firm clients to co-invest in the funds raised by their firms. The PLP also offers loans and lines of credit to prospective partners at these firms to finance partnership equity purchases.
This role will work closely with various key stakeholders across the bank, such as PLP Lenders, Executive Loan Committee, Underwriters and Client Service Associates. Our goal is to provide responsive support in order to fund individual client capital contributions and distributions for our growing portfolio.
Job responsibilities
- Prepare and process capital call and distribution requests for fund investments and returns
- Analyze unique loan terms and understand various requirements for leveraged requests
- Ensure capital call and distribution requests are completed in a timely manner and with exceptional service
- Produce customized templates and documentation for each program
- Reconcile discrepancies between leverage accounts and funded investments
- Communicate with CFOs and their support team to roll out new programs and establish operational procedures
- Manage support inbox and respond to all client and firm inquires.
- Produce regular or ad hoc reports to support internal team and client needs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Fund accounting, credit analyst, or private equity/ venture capital experience highly preferred
- Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and work streams
- Help solve pressing issues through thoughtful, strategic, and pragmatic execution
