Pay Range: $35 to $50 per hour (DOE)
Job Description
Review and develop documentation around FERC requirements
Reviewing existing policies and procedures for OATT compliance, OASIS and internet postings and other periodic requirements as laid out in various FERC rules and orders
Assist subject matter experts in updating existing policies and procedures, or developing new policies/procedures
Review evidence documentation for the same tasks, and will track progress on development and storage of documentation per the determined requirements
Strive for consistency in quality and approach to documentation and compliance activities
Manages and supports overall compliance program
Performs research to understand requirements of pertinent federal, state and local regulatory schemes in reference to all business units within the organization
Monitors operational compliance practices and performs risk assessments
Analyzes existing policies, identifies gaps and recommends new or revised policies and procedures, approval processes, and monitoring methods
Provides technical expertise in identifying and reducing areas of potential risk
Gathers data, conducts analyses, and prepares work related to compliance reviews
Participates in developing new compliance systems and tools to support large compliance projects.
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering, Business or Regulatory Studies (or 6 years of first hand experience in a compliance position in lieu of a degree)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current and proposed FERC requirements and regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, team facilitation and leadership, process development, project organization and management, change management and performance reporting
Computer Skills include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SharePoint and Project Wise would be beneficial
