Job Description


United Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Cyber Security Expert with experience supporting nuclear power facilities. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team of engineers and designers at our Charlotte NC office working on modification packages supporting various nuclear stations. The successful candidate will perform cyber security assessments to support modification packages containing digital components.




***** Please note: Cyber Security architecture experience in an operating Nuclear plant is mandatory*****


 


Minimum Requirements:



  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related technical discipline

  • Three (3) to twelve (12) years of commercial nuclear plant cyber security experience and familiarity with NEI guidance

  • Experience related to performing cyber security assessments in support of plant modifications

  • Ability to prepare documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must be a Citizen of the U.S. and able to obtain unescorted access to a U.S. nuclear power plant


  


Preferred Requirements:



  • Previous commercial nuclear plant experience with cyber security defensive architecture.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer networks, network switches, routers, and firewalls. 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server and QNX.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of real time data acquisition systems, including hardware, software and interfaces.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSI/PI historian

  • Ability to read plant drawings (control wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, network architecture diagrams, etc)
