Pay range:  $21/hr. - $26/hr.









Responsibilities






Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5:00pm with rotating on-call 

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

  • The function of the IT Support Specialist is to be responsible for performing service, repair and/or installations on-site or at the various locations throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties, which involves system, technical and/or application support to internal customers and help desk systems. 
  • Other duties involved are to provide support in the installation, relocation, diagnosis and repair of desktop and laptop computers, tablets, printer’s copier, cell phone and/or associated peripheral equipment.

 









Qualifications






 

A.     Education/Regulatory Requirements:

o    High school or equivalent preferred.

o    AS degree and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) preferred.

B.     Skills:

o    A minimum of 1 year of Technical School or experience as a computer technician.

o    Proficient in Network topographies, printers and peripherals, and hardware repair.

o    Knowledge of current software including MS Office products, and MS Windows products.

C.     Professional Requirements:

o    Excellent communication skills; experience in dealing tactfully with a variety of people.

o    Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
