We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level IT Support Technician to assist in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.

Job Summary

As an Entry-Level IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support across various departments, troubleshooting IT issues, and assisting in system maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in network administration, hardware/software support, and IT security within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree, certification, or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and VoIP systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide help desk support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, network cabling, and network issues.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory, ERP system, and email systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Provide help desk support for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically. Log and track requests within the helpdesk ticket portal.
  • Assist with network troubleshootingΒ in hard to reach places using a hydraulic lift, including connectivity, VoIP phones, security cameras, door access, and security concerns.
  • Help maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve system performance and cybersecurity.
  • Assist with data backups, recovery procedures, and software updates.
  • Support TMCO’s shop floor technology, including ERP system and manufacturing-related software.
