What You'll Do

We are hiring an IT Support Technician for our Princeton, NJ Headquarters. (Hybrid)

 

 

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform laptop builds for new hires and replacements for existing employees leveraging Microsoft Intune.
  • Manage and maintain end users’ mobile devices via the Verizon Wireless portal and Microsoft Intune.
  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
  • Remediate EDR issues found on endpoints.
  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Troubleshoot and solve PC issues remotely.
  • First-tier helpdesk support for end users and end-user equipment.
  • Improve the way endpoints are managed and maintained as new technologies emerge.
  • Assist the Director, Infrastructure and Operations, in creating and maintaining Desktop Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors ongoing issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Sets up and configure new hire systems:
  • Laptop
  • VPN
  • Mobile phone
  • Assists in maintaining an up-to-date list of employees' hardware assets.
  • Assists in the creation of technical and working instruction documentation as needed.
  • Creates user accounts and maintains Active Directory.
  • Verify that employee’s equipment is current and secure utilizing existing system monitoring tools:
  • N-Able/SentinelOne
  • Threatdown
  • Lansweeper
  • Creates and updates new hire technology documentation as necessary.
  • Ensure connectivity to cloud-based applications (Microsoft 365, AWS, etc…).
  • Conducts new hire onboarding technology orientation training sessions and makes changes to orientation documentation and onboarding sessions as needed.

 

What You Need

Level of Education

Bachelor’s Degree or IT Certification

 

Prior Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in end-user support and computer builds.

 

Skills and Competencies

  • The employee must conduct their work activities in compliance with all relevant regulations, ICH, CFR guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Guidelines for using computer systems in clinical studies.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Intune for managing and maintaining endpoints.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
  • Skillful with Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
    • Identity
    • Intune
    • Exchange
    • Teams
    • SharePoint
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware problems.
  • Proficient in IT Helpdesk Software, such as Jira Service Desk.
  • MacOS experience a plus.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and technology as required.

Additional Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
