Role & Responsibilities:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for day-to-day support of all company end-users. The IT Support Specialist must have a general knowledge of retail point-of-sale (POS) systems, networking, firewalls, phone system, and remote support. This is a full-time position. Essential job functions include:
Responsible for the management and operation of the company's information system (POS, ERP, etc.), including system organizational structure maintenance, account and process configuration, permission and data security management, etc.
Assist with deployment and troubleshooting of new POS software (GK). Experience with GK is a plus, but not required.
Provide expert technical user and POS system support to brick & mortar store locations
Solve computer hardware/software problems
Configure desktop hardware and software
Provide network and remote connectivity hardware/software support
Assist teammates and other IT staff members with hardware/software issues
Provide technical support to local & remote users
Monitor phone and help desk email
Use remote control software to resolve desktop issues
Assist or prepare correspondence as requested
Identify root cause of issues, be proactive in solving root cause and preventing reoccurrence
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant IT experience is required (5+ years of relevant experience is preferred)
Relevant IT experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) systems is required (POS system implementation experience is a plus, but not required)
Experience with GK (POS system) is a plus, but not required
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field is a plus, but not required
Background in and exposure to PC maintenance/repair and application support
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
Strong verbal and written communication
Strong documentation skills
SAP (or other ERP) experience is a plus, but not required.
Java experience is a plus, but not required.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $32.00 per hour. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
