Organization's Summary Statement: The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science is seeking an entry or mid-level IT Technician to support our campuses. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills and be able to work somewhat independently. This person will have practical IT experience and be able to assist faculty and staff with troubleshooting different hardware and software, as well as prepare and setup for meetings, events, seminar's and webinar's from an IT perspective. This is a part-time, in-person position located in Cambridge, Maryland.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds, light walking is required, however this is a primarily sedentary position

Minimum Qualifications: Two years experience in IT support.
- Proficiency with Zoom Seminar and Zoom Webinar.
- General IT support experience with hardware, software and peripherals like DELL, Apple and HP.
-Ability to prepare meeting rooms for events and functions from an IT preparation perspective.
-Must be able to assist and explain concepts for IT support.
