Job Summary  


The IT Support Specialist is an employee-facing service role that supports the relationship between Holt and Holt’s third-party managed services provider. This position will manage administrative IT tasks such as device inventory/assignment and ISP setup/management.  This position will also have basic application administration and management tasks relating to some of Holt’s cloud-based software programs.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Project Management related fields or professional certification preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT related position

  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred

  • Ability to troubleshoot employee workstations (primarily Windows OS) and Microsoft applications

  • Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues, guide team members through basic computer or software programs, and handle customer service requests 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, spreadsheet software, and database management software

  • Basic understanding of software system design, development, implementation, and end-user support

  • Experience managing projects to meet the needs of multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders preferred

Responsibilities



  • Consistently communicate protocols to staff while prioritizing an employee service attitude  

  • Implement software changes to improve user experience while adhering to administration policy guidelines 

  • Manage laptop, iPad, and cell phone inventory  

  • Facilitate setup of new machines and ensure proper event logging 

  • Ensure all conference room A/V is always in working order; Proactively assist employees with meeting preparedness for all audio-visual needs.

  • Liaise between construction management department and MSP to set up and maintain site internet at all locations.

  • Work with MSP to ensure all documents are completed timely and deliver billing information promptly to the accounting department

  • Periodically drive to Holt developments to help field staff with tech issues

  • Other duties as needed or assigned


Work Environment



  • Regularly uses a computer with repeated movements to enter data, differentiate between colors, shades, and brightness, and read from a screen for extended periods of time

  • Periodically will travel to a development to work at job trailer
