POSITION DESCRIPTION: Onsite DP IT representative during the installation and construction phases of DrinkPAK’s new DP2 facility in Texas. Role will morph into full network administrator and onsite IT support technician (Jack of many IT trades) for the whole DP2 site, dotted line to the GM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge in network engineering and topology of industrial networks (OT Networks) as well as IT networks. Firewalls, Switches, APs, VLANs, VPNs, Routing, Advanced Security.

  • Knowledge of best practices in network security.

  • Familiarity and recent experience with HA servers & networks (high availability).

  • Project managing skills, to manage IT vendors onsite to make intelligent decisions as well as manage IT software projects supporting the IT Director.

  • Great attention to detail, with a focus on security & uptime.

  • Leads/manages medium to large size projects, leveraging project management tools to deliver results. Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

  • Responsible for all aspects of complex IT projects.

  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 

  • Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of DrinkPAK policies, procedures and safety rules

  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks not specifically mentioned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with a broad range of IT functions including networking, firewalls, security, wireless, IT/OT networks – the more the better.

  • History of IT Project Management, hardware and/or software projects

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with the Microsoft Suite of products (Azure, Sharepoint, Office) and Cisco/Meraki hardware
