Job Description
Job Summary:
The IT Support Analyst provides technical assistance and support to users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring that all technology is functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding software, hardware, and network issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- User Training: Provide training and support to users on software applications, operating systems, and best practices in IT security.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions in a ticketing system. Create user manuals and documentation for common issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to implement new systems and improve existing processes.
- Monitoring Systems: Regularly monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of IT equipment and software licenses (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Dropbox) ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Data Administration: Get familiar with our in-house web application and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability, supporting business operations through effective data management and reporting
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of networking concepts is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Customer Service: A customer-oriented attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service to end-users.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
