We are seeking a Level 1 IT Technician to provide technical support and assistance to our clients. As a Level 1 IT Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, both hardware and software related
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and peripherals
- Keep track of all requests and incidents in a ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve issues
- Educate clients on basic technical issues and solutions
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their requests
- Document all procedures and technical information
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common desktop applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
