As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot IT issues, and collaborate with our IT team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join our team and support the IT infrastructure across our hospitality operations. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining point-of-sale systems, creating documentation, and assisting with IT projects. This position will primarily focus on weekend support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support via ticketing system, walk-ins, or phone.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printers, VoIP phones, music, and point-of-sale issues.
- Assist with user account management in Microsoft 365 Admin Center (password resets, group access, and basic permissions adjustments).
- Support third-party cloud applications, including but not limited to Toast, Restaurant 365, Accesso, Any Roads, Adobe, and other approved business tools.
- Provide remote assistance to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using approved IT tools.
- Deploy and configure new devices, ensuring proper software installation and setup.
- Check and update IT asset records, including tracking assigned devices and verifying inventory status.
- Log and track support requests in our ticketing system with accurate documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain user training and reference materials via SharePoint, vendor tutorials, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Escalate complex issues and collaborate with the IT team for resolution.
- Assist with IT projects such as system updates, hardware replacements, and basic network troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Compensation & Travel Requirements
- Hourly Pay: Based on experience, up to $48,000 per year.
- Travel Required: Occasional travel to other locations. Reimbursement provided.
- Cellphone Required: Reimbursement provided.
