What the Role Offers - Helpdesk Technician
We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician to join our IT support team. This role provides technical assistance to employees and supports a range of IT systems and applications. As a Junior Helpdesk Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for troubleshooting issues and resolving user requests. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain experience in IT support.
What You Need to Succeed

Provide Technical Support: Respond to user queries in person, by phone, or email, and log issues in the helpdesk ticketing system.

Troubleshoot Basic IT Issues: Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, including password resets, software installations, and printer troubleshooting.

Support End-User Applications: Assist with common productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, email applications, and company-specific software.

Escalate Complex Issues: Escalate unresolved issues to senior helpdesk staff or other IT departments as necessary.

Maintain Documentation: Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and frequently asked questions to support team knowledge.

User Account Management: Assist in creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts following company policies and protocols.

Inventory Management: Assist with tracking IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Required Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in IT or a related field is a plus.

Experience: Prior customer service experience preferred. Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting is an advantage.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS environments, Office 365, and remote support tools.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Must be present on site for all related responsibilities and be able to routinely perform activities as needed.
- Must be able to sit and stand unassisted for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Mental Demands:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with an attention to detail
- Must maintain high level alertness and acuity for analytical review and processing of documentation, daily.
- Able to work independently with changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
- Onsite position in Redmond or Woodinville, WA. No remote or hybrid work is available for this position.
- Extended periods of time on the computer.
- Extended periods of time on your feet.
- Working in warm environment wearing sterile gowning.
- Working in loud or noisy environments
Estimated Base Salary: $29.81 - $34.62 Hourly DOE
