What’s the job?

We are looking for a tech-savvy individual to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software in our Phoenix, Arizona office. As a Help Desk Technician, you are responsible for responding to support ticket requests and offering technical support to customers using computer systems, hardware, and software. To be successful, you should be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration (Windows and Mac), set up, and maintenance. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Responding to ticket requests on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Offering technical assistance with the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Guiding other staff in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
  • Gaining feedback from customers to improve training methods and self-help resources.
  • Writing and editing technical documentation.
  • Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems.
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors to maintain service levels.
Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • 1-2+ years in help desk support or customer service
  • Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software (Windows & Mac)
  • Proficiency in office automation tools, remote assistance applications, and Microsoft O365 user management/Azure AD
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Mandarin a plus
