The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a Cybersecurity Training Content Developer


Requirements

  

  • Lead the development of comprehensive cybersecurity training content, including instructional modules, role-based training, and cybersecurity awareness materials.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs to collect, analyze, and integrate technical content into interactive training modules.
  • Develop training materials, courses, and online content using government-provided tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, KnowBe4), ensuring all modules are SCORM and 508 compliant.
  • Support the creation of content for social engineering exercises, cybersecurity awareness month, and federal role-based training programs.
  • Ensure training content adheres to federal cybersecurity regulations (NIST, FISMA) and aligns with the organization’s Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Work closely with instructional designers and SMEs to ensure that all content developed meets the training needs of a diverse federal audience.
  • Create cybersecurity videos, e-learning modules, and case studies for awareness campaigns, providing real-world scenarios to enhance learner engagement.
  • Participate in the review and updating of cybersecurity training handbooks and documentation.
  • Assist with research, collection, and analysis of cybersecurity data to support ongoing content improvements and strategy development.
  • Ensure all work products, including content updates, are delivered on time and meet the quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity training content development, instructional design, and awareness programs within a federal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, FISMA, and familiarity with the ADDIE instructional design model.
  • Proficiency with content development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere, KnowBe4, and SCORM compliance.
  • Proven track record in developing engaging and interactive cybersecurity training materials for a federal audience.

Clearance: 

Must have a minimum active SECRET clearance (US citizenship required).
