Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team Philadelphia, PA.

This role is hybrid with remote work from home and some travel to customer sites.

The Ideal candidate will also have experience as a Program/Project Manager with a strong background in managing Federal Government programs. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader capable of overseeing complex projects and leading teams towards achieving strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement proven high-tech solutions to increase security and defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats, and other types of cybercrimes.
• Oversee monitoring of computer networks, identify security issues, and anticipate security breaches.
• Execute the installation and maintenance of security programs, plans, and software, including firewalls and data encryption programs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program)​ 
• 5+ year's experience with Navy systems
• 2+ years' experience with a demonstrated knowledge of NAVSEAINST 9400.2-M, NIST SP 800-53, and DODI 8500.01
• 2+ years' experience managing projects for DoD customers
• 1+ year of experience implementing the RMF process on industrial controls systems.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical/electrical system design, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of Aircraft Carrier equipment or systems
