Techneaux is currently looking for a qualified full-time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Business Information Technology Services team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) responsibilities to join our dynamic team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Techneaux Technology Services, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients' sensitive information and ensuring the integrity of their IT infrastructure. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing governance, risk management, and compliance activities to ensure our clients meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in clients' systems.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to clients' specific needs.
  • Monitor network traffic and systems logs for signs of suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
  • Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate impact and prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity awareness and compliance.
  • Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities, including developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans.
  • Ensure clients' compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • Facilitate audits and assessments by regulatory bodies and third-party auditors, ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is accurate.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on GRC-related matters, including training and awareness programs.
  • Collaborate with clients' internal teams and external partners to address GRC challenges and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role: 

  • You must live in the Lafayette, LA area (This is not a remote position). 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience working in cybersecurity or information security roles, preferably in a managed service provider (MSP) environment.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance audits.
  • Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, and COBIT.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with GRC tools and software solutions is a plus.

Salary Description

$28.85-$38.46/hour
