Cybersecurity Account Executive


LMG Security's Account Executive (AE) will manage direct client relationships, leading them through the sales cycle from initial inquiry to a signed proposal, and maintaining the relationship over time. The AE is expected to be the main point of contact for the majority of his/her clients while also conferring with colleagues on items such as pricing, scoping, scheduling, etc. Must be able to move initiatives forward independently and bring in support as needed. 




Essential Functions: 



  • Understand and clearly articulate LMG Security’s services to pitch them to potential clients.

    • This includes LMG Security's selected reseller partner products.





  • Consistently and promptly follow up with leads. 



  • Cultivate and grow existing client relationships. 



  • Generate new leads, often in collaboration with the marketing and events teams. 



  • Leverage email, phone, LinkedIn, Zoom, in-person meetings, and other communications resources. 



  • Keep LMG’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform up-to-date by logging all new accounts, contacts and communications, as appropriate. The AE is also expected to carefully track opportunity status within the CRM.  



  • Collaborate with sales team and sales engineers to properly scope client engagements. 



  • Create and maintain client proposals. Follow-up on outstanding proposals to identify needed revisions and move the proposal to closing.  



  • Collaborate with LMG’s project managers and executive team as needed to coordinate sales efforts and projects. 



  • Attend LMG events, conferences, and other networking events on behalf of LMG, including occasional staffing of a booth as part of an exhibitor opportunity. 



  • Contribute to planning of sales and marketing strategies prior to conferences and other events.  



  • Assist in maintaining and building partnerships. 



  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. 



  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. 



  • Work with project managers and executive team to resolve any client concerns and ensure client satisfaction. 



  • Maintain existing culture committed to client service and satisfaction.

  • Participate as a reliable member of the overall Sales Team.




Qualifications: 


Education/Experience: 



  • 1-3 years of sales experience required 

  • Experience in the technology sector a plus




Skills: 



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  



  • Team player with collaborative, positive attitude  



  • Proven ability to take initiative and follow through on projects independently 



  • Effective and efficient time management and ability to multitask 



  • Willingness to learn new technologies and grow 



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment 



  • Ability to meet deadlines




Physical Requirements:



  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment 

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time 

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 30 pounds 

  • Position is based in Des Moines

  • Some travel will be required
