What's the role?


Tevora is seeking an experienced Technical Cybersecurity Recruiter to join our People Operations team. Your role will be essential in driving the full-cycle recruitment process for cybersecurity and software development roles. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of highly qualified candidates for various technical positions, including cybersecurity consultants, penetration testers, SOC analysts, software developers, and more with expertise in cybersecurity tools and practices.


A day in the life could include:



  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for cybersecurity and software development roles, including job description creation, market analysis, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.

  • Source passive candidates through advanced searches, networking on cybersecurity platforms including internal ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Conduct technical screenings to assess candidates' knowledge in areas such as network security, cloud security, ethical hacking, incident response, penetration testing, and secure coding practices.

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of top-tier technical professionals.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and team leads to understand role requirements and ensure hiring alignment with specific project and client security needs.

  • Promote Tevora's employer brand in the cybersecurity space by networking at industry events, conferences, and online forums.

  • Analyze and improve recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, candidate retention, and diversity hiring.

  • Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance cybersecurity talent acquisition processes and help design new approaches to attract top-tier technical talent.


Necessary skills and qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, specifically in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related technical fields.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and trends, including certifications such as CISSP, PCI QSA, CISM, CEH, or similar.

  • Experience with JazzHR, ApplicantPro or other ATS systems, technical sourcing tools, and other recruitment platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in building pipelines of cybersecurity professionals and closing hard-to-fill roles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with highly technical professionals.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple roles and deadlines simultaneously.


Bonus Points:



  • Experience in cyber security, software engineering and/or consulting.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple high priority roles.

  • Experience in both agency and in-house recruitment.
