Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to join the Security Operations Team, focusing on cybersecurity incident response and system administration. This role is responsible for reviewing, remediating, and ensuring the security of network systems to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The Senior Security Analyst will work closely with IT security specialists and managers to address vulnerabilities and improve security protocols.
Responsibilities:
· Review and validate security procedures to ensure effective classification and response to cyber events.
· Investigate and resolve issues identified by security operations tools, ensuring thorough analysis and resolution.
· Oversee the configuration and administration of security hardware and software, implementing corrective actions when needed.
· Administer proxy servers, endpoint detection and response systems, and intrusion protection/detection systems.
· Collaborate with IT teams to engineer and implement network security tools and best practices.
· Integrate threat intelligence feeds and manage network taps for comprehensive security coverage.
· Provide high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders and assist in troubleshooting security issues.
Required Skills:
· 5+ years of experience in IT security, with a strong foundation in Linux, Windows, and Unix environments.
· Hands-on experience with enterprise packet capture tools and network security architecture.
· Proficiency in configuring and administering security network tools and hardware.
· Knowledge of network subnetting, engineering security rules, and industry best practices.
· Familiarity with integrating threat intelligence feeds to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
