Job Summary:


The core responsibility for the Regional Support Engineer is to take care for the day-to-day operation, end users support, and maintenance of the regional Infrastructure devices and applications. The person is the key interface with the plants’ management and is responsible to ensure IT solution deployed on location is relevant for the business, focusing on user experience while conforming to all central IT standards.


Job Duties:



  • Responsible for providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT services.

  • Provide general IT support and serve as a single point of contact for multiple locations and users.

  • Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks.

  • Act as a key contributor to ensure successful deployment of Global and Regional IT software and infrastructure.

  • Trouble shoot problems and equipment repair and replacement.

  • Perform all other job duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience Requirements:



  • Relevant associate degree, and certification preferred

  • 3+ years relevant industry experience with focus in manufacturing environments and systems is preferred

  • Sound understanding of IT best practices and ability to learn

  • Good understanding and supporting of basic network topology, switching in warehouse/plant operating environment, access points, IP, and DNS routing

  • Excellent knowledge in supporting Microsoft and its interconnection products (Office 365, OneDrive, Win10/Win11, Active Directory, Windows server 2012-2022, remote desktop, terminal server, virtualization, SCCM and InTune)

  • Excellent knowledge in supporting hardware (laptops, desktops, and printers)

  • Experience working in IT ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy preferred

  • Ability to administer and setup domains, group policy and users in Active Directory

  • Approachable, friendly, accountable, and put business continuity and impact first

  • Ability to objectively analyze information and draw a rational conclusion. Be a thought-leader in day-to-day interactions

  • Ability at times to work in a collaborative global team

  • Natural problem solver, flexible and able to prioritize tasks under pressure

  • Desire to grow and take on additional responsibilities

  • A valid driver license, and ability to travel to other US location between 10%- 15%

  • Broad knowledge of technical best practices to plan and deploy new solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Work Environment:


This position will primarily work in an office environment where sitting for prolong periods of time and using a computer, telephone and other office electronics are critical. This position will also need to visit the various plant locations and spend time out on the plant floors where moving machinery produces noise. Some lifting, carrying, climbing ladders or working on platforms greater than 13 feet/4 meters is necessary.
