IT Support Technician

Sunflower Bank is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time IT Support Technician at our Salina, KS location. IT support technicians assist with the operation/repair of computer systems and other technological equipment. IT technicians are the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues. The provide Level 2 ticket resolution for certain users, and help desk troubleshooting assistance, as well as providing support and resolution to all software and hardware issues concerning laptop/desktop computers, mobile devices/phones, and printers. They are responsible for helping install, configuring, testing, and upgrading computer software and hardware. Technicians ensure computer systems are running smoothly. IT technicians should have a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systems, and basic computer programming. 

• Analyze and perform troubleshoot on all computer systems and perform required repairs and modifications on systems. 
• Quickly address any issues with technological equipment to minimize downtime. 
• Perform routine maintenance of computer and network. 
• Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configuration. 
• Set up and configure new equipment. 

Education / Experience Preferred:

• Proficient in applying tablet, desktop, Server Operating Systems, and all Microsoft applications. 
• Working knowledge of all laptop hardware, desktop types, software packages, operating systems and network
• Have at least an Associate’s degree in computer science, networking, or programming. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience, technical training or knowledge
• Have about 3 years of experience in the IT industry.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
