Salary Range: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 a year, Paid Time Off, 401(k), and Benefits for Full Time permanent employees!

Schedule: Monday to Friday


 

Position Summary:

The role of the IT Support Technician is to provide software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all Quantum’s computer end users.  Perform general workstation configuration, maintenance, relocation, question/problem diagnosis and clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional manner. Follow document procedures to ensure efficient, effective service to all users.  Assist with server support and partake in rotation of on-call support.  This individual will work closely with the Lead IT Support Technician.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

The IT Support Technician acts as a liaison between the IT department and Quantum’s end users on IT support requests.  From Quantum’s support queue, resolves all level I and II end-user problems.  Requests assistance from Lead IT Support or escalates requests to a Systems Administrator Team.

Key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature:


  • Respond to IT support requests on a timely matter

  • Perform general workstation configuration, maintenance, and relocation

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues

  • Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system

  • Assist to maintain accurate and up to date hardware and license inventory

  • Perform custom application installations, configurations, and upgrades

  • Configure printing and troubleshoot printing problems

  • Updates document procedures to ensure efficient, effective service to all users

  • Partake on monthly server support

  • Follow regulatory compliance policies established by Quantum

  • Partake in rotation of on-call support

  • Demonstrate progression to enhance skillsets through completed courses or certifications annually

  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:


  • Associate degree

  • 2 years’ experience in IT Support and systems maintenance


Preferred Experience:


  • Microsoft Windows Desktop

  • Microsoft Windows Server

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Microsoft Intune

  • Active Directory

  • Comprehensive Network Troubleshooting

  • VolP Phone Systems

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and/or SOC compliance
