SUMMARY

To assist onsite with the disassembly and reassembly of Desktops, Conference Rooms, and related equipment/departments, as it pertains to relocating and assisting in the technical functions of our tech company's employees. This is an entry level position, with training provided. This job requires 40 hours a week, on-site at our Santa Clara or Sunnyvale locations during normal business hours. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Disconnecting workstations
  • Reconnecting workstations
  • Display screen repairs and replacements
  • Asset shipping and receiving (nationally/internationally), averaging 1,700 assets per 90 days
  • Virtual and in-person new hire set-up/onboarding
  • Employee offboarding, equipment recovery and re-imaging equipment
  • Software updates, app installation, profile configuration, device information exportation
  • Conference room set ups and weekly monitoring
  • Remote asset management, set-up, and troubleshooting
  • Inventory management on-site and remotely

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Related work experience and education is preferred.  Strong familiarity with Apple products and programs, as well as the ability to disconnect, setup, configure workstations and implement scripts is necessary.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret technical procedures in English.  Ability to print legibly in English.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts.   Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

 

REASONING ABILITY

The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. The ability to capitalize on your knowledge to problem solve.
