Seeking an IT Support Technician with experience working for a computer software or hardware company, assisting customers with products and providing computer support internally to company employees. The technician is responsible for maintaining the company’s computer services and equipment. Their duties can include troubleshooting to detect and solve technical problems, installing or updating required hardware and software and recommending computer products or equipment to improve company productivity.
Technical Qualification: The candidate should have experience in the following.
A minimum of 2 years Systems Administration experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with using and configuring Linux & Windows Servers
The ability to demonstrate a strong understanding and ability to work with Apache, Web hosting knowledge & SSL experience
Experience with PHP is a plus
Experience with MySQL is a plus
Strong communication skills
Additional Qualification: We will also be looking for the following core competencies
Knowledge of project management principles
Ability to troubleshoot and solve server issues
Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress & Magento a plus
Knowledge of other third-party hosting platforms a plus
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with end-users and co-workers alike
Maintain high level of technical proficiency in the areas of personal computing and application through experience
Investigate faults, user problems and other requests for support, while obtaining all pertinent information, documenting its progress and taking the most appropriate actions in order to reach a satisfactory resolution
Ensure that client hosting requirements are up-to-date and reliable
Demonstrate flexibility in extended hours to meet deadlines whenever required necessary
