IT Support Specialist

What you will do:

As our IT Support Specialist, you will help the Information Technology Team by assisting our internal employees with IT Helpdesk support calls to prevent and troubleshoot technology issues that could negatively impact their job as well as assist with hardware and software installations. This position works in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.

The job:

Every day you will provide exceptional customer service to internal customers. You will assist in the operation of computer networks by installing hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and phones. You will prepare new computers for installation including loading operating systems, application software, and installing necessary hardware, security, and login information. You will be the first line of contact, reporting issues, solutions, and escalations in the ITSM Solution.

The skills you need:

To thrive in this job, you must have exceptional communication skills and be self-motivated. You should enjoy helping others and working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting complex technology issues across a wide spectrum of software and hardware components. You should have experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications, Jira/IT Ticketing Systems, remote desktop support, and a 2-year Computer Technology degree or equivalent work experience.
