Are you a proactive, tech-savvy professional who thrives on responsibility and enjoys building relationships across diverse teams? At Perimeter Healthcare, we’re seeking an IT Support Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining seamless technology operations at our behavioral hospital sites. This exciting hybrid role allows you to work remotely while providing hands-on support when on-site presence is essential. Take ownership of your work, drive success, and be a trusted resource in our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Your Role:
As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be a cornerstone of the IT team, working closely with hospital staff, administrators, and external vendors to ensure systems run efficiently. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being the go-to problem solver, tackling issues head-on with confidence and professionalism. You’ll also shape processes, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure that tickets and projects are managed effectively from start to finish.

What You'll Do:
  • Ownership & Responsibility: Take full responsibility for the success of IT operations at assigned sites. Be the sole on-site IT resource when necessary, ensuring timely resolutions and effective communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 technical issues related to desktops, printers, cloud applications, and more. Collaborate with escalation partners for server and network challenges, applying exceptional diagnostic skills.
  • Communication: Interact with individuals across all organizational levels—executive leadership, clinical staff, and external vendors—translating technical concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Documentation & Organization: Create and maintain organized ticketing and project documentation using tools like Zendesk and IT Glue. Ensure processes remain up to date and easily accessible.
  • Technical Support: Provide remote and on-site support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring compliance with SLAs. Participate in planned deployments and ad hoc incident management.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist remote teams in diagnosing complex issues, contributing technical expertise and logical problem-solving.
About You:
  • You’re technical and hands-on, thriving in dynamic environments where your expertise makes a difference.
  • You enjoy interacting with people, whether it’s assisting users remotely or supporting staff in person.
  • You’re proactive, responsible, and resourceful, able to manage tasks independently while being part of a larger team.
  • You excel at multitasking, communicating effectively, and staying organized under pressure.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT support, with expertise in resolving Level 2 issues. Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of desktop support, hardware diagnostics, Office 365, and cloud applications. Server and network experience is advantageous.
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSE are preferred.
  • Personal Traits: Exceptional troubleshooting skills, logical thinking, and a customer-first mindset.
Why Join Us:
  • Work in a supportive, mission-driven environment that values your contributions.
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with opportunities to travel regionally.
  • Benefit from comprehensive compensation, including competitive salary, travel reimbursements, and an on-call stipend.
