BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB



  • Contribute to the hospital’s mission through effective delivery and support of current and future technology systems, services and projects.

  • Provide high quality remote and on-site end-user assistance, training, problem resolution and escalation for computer, phone, network and application problems.

  • Responsible for Data Center/Network/Phone system monitoring, workload processing, and report distribution.

  • Provide first level dispatch assistance for technology problem resolution that cannot be handled by the engineer himself.

  • Understand and enforce all data security and physical security standards.


 


JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Associates degree in a computer-related technical field or equivalent education/experience in technology operations.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • One to two (1 – 2) years of experience in a technology service and support capacity.


  • Experience in the education and support of end users is highly desirable.



  • Experience with LAN/WAN and network monitoring tools desirable.

  • Certifications on computer/network hardware and Microsoft OS/software highly desired.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus is required.
