IT Infrastructure & Info Sec - IT Helpdesk Officer
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Contribute to the hospital’s mission through effective delivery and support of current and future technology systems, services and projects.
Provide high quality remote and on-site end-user assistance, training, problem resolution and escalation for computer, phone, network and application problems.
Responsible for Data Center/Network/Phone system monitoring, workload processing, and report distribution.
Provide first level dispatch assistance for technology problem resolution that cannot be handled by the engineer himself.
Understand and enforce all data security and physical security standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in a computer-related technical field or equivalent education/experience in technology operations. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
One to two (1 – 2) years of experience in a technology service and support capacity.
Experience in the education and support of end users is highly desirable.
Experience with LAN/WAN and network monitoring tools desirable.
Certifications on computer/network hardware and Microsoft OS/software highly desired.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus is required.
