Position Summary:
The EquiTrust Internship Program provides students with a paid summer opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization’s goals. Interns will apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting, working closely with experienced professionals and participating in day-to-day operations. Throughout the program, they will collaborate across departments, enhancing their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while developing industry-specific expertise. A key component of the internship is the capstone project, which allows interns to showcase their work and insights gained from their experience. Their contributions will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive meaningful results aligned with EquiTrust’s mission and values. This program offers a valuable chance to build a professional network and gain practical skills that will support future career success.

How You'll Contribute:
As an Information Technology (IT Support Services) Intern, you will play a hands-on role in keeping our technology running smoothly. From troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers to setting up new hire workstations, you'll be the go-to for tech support. You'll also help maintain IT inventory, assist with network troubleshooting (think Wi-Fi and VPN issues), and document support tickets. If you love problem-solving and digging into tech challenges, this role will give you real-world experience while making a direct impact. Plus, you'll have opportunities to take on additional projects and grow your skills in a dynamic team environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide basic technical support for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals
  • Assist in establishing and configuring new hire accounts and workstations
  • Maintain IT inventory (tracks and organizes hardware)
  • Assist with network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN issues)
  • Respond to and document IT support tickets
  • Use problem-solving skills to research and resolve issues
  • Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested to accomplish department and Company objectives.

What You'll Bring:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Rising Junior or Senior at Accredited University required.

Compensation and Pay Philosophy: 
The pay range for this role is $20.00-$25.00 per hour. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, and may be higher or lower than the posted range.
