Position Summary


At the core of our company is our proprietary technology.  We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join the quickly expanding Technology Operations team.  The goal of the department is to solve business needs through our proprietary technology solutions. We are constantly improving processes and efficiencies for our operations staff.  The primary focus of this position is to be an integrated quality resource for project teams on our biggest products. Anchor is an entrepreneurial company and this position will have significant impact on the future of the business and its technology solutions as we grow and expand our operations nationwide.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, or email

  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process

  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services

  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

  • Follow-up and update customer status and information

  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team




Requirements



  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control

  • Microsoft 360 Experience

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

  • Technical Skills: One must encompass a general understanding of computers, both hardware and software, and an understanding of Microsoft applications. Additionally, experience with email systems and basic understanding of Networks and Connectivity is required

  • 3 years Help Desk experience required

  • H.S. diploma or GED required

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.




Preferred, but not required



  • AWS Experience

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent Microsoft certification

  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft MTA certifications (preferred but not required)




Work Environment


This is an onsite position which requires in office reporting to Anchor’s Thousand Oaks office.




Compensation


The base pay range for this position is $20-$35/hour, plus annual discretionary bonus based on performance of the individual and company.
