Job Summary:
 
For more than 20 years RSi has been a leading revenue cycle management service provider for the hospital and large physician practice market.  RSi is looking for a Help Desk Technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on company computer systems. Help Desk experience is requirement, as is possessing technical skills (Windows environment) and being able to communicate effectively. Communication skills include understanding the problem, troubleshooting and explaining the solution. Job Responsibilities:

• Install and configure software and hardware
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
• Perform necessary and appropriate troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
• Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
• Image/Re-image machines as necessary
• Be available to work overtime when necessary

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other IT customer support role
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of Windows business environments automation products, databases and remote control
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma
• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other IT customer support role

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
