AERMOR is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist III to lead cybersecurity compliance, risk assessments, and security governance for NSWC PCD systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of DoD RMF, A&A processes, and security incident management, as well as the ability to interface with high-level DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA cybersecurity personnel. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience, a strong background in cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability management, and security risk assessments, and is comfortable with eMASS, ST&E, and RMF documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a lead cybersecurity resource, advising on policy implementation and compliance.
Interface with DoD, DoN, and NAVSEA cybersecurity professionals to ensure security governance.
Manage RMF compliance efforts, ensuring systems are properly accredited and meet security requirements.
Lead security assessments, security control testing, and system accreditation efforts.
Oversee IAVA vulnerability tracking and compliance reporting in VRAM and CMRS.
Lead security incident response efforts, including forensic investigations and mitigation strategies.
Ensure classified network security measures comply with DoD and DoN regulations.
Represent NSWC PCD at Navy RMF process meetings and cybersecurity-related discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must possess SEC+ or equivalent certification.
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and DoD IT security.
Deep knowledge of DoD RMF, A&A processes, Navy eMASS, and security compliance standards.
Experience with cybersecurity governance, risk assessments, and security testing.
Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools, including ACAS, VRAM, and CMRS.
Strong ability to lead teams and interface with senior DoD cybersecurity personnel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro.
