ARSIEM Corporation is currently looking for a Cybersecurity Instructor to deliver highly technical CO training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises, and other delivery methods. The position will support one of our Government clients in Pensacola, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Develop training curriculum (lecture content, student/instructor guides, exams, exercises, simulations, etc.)
- Provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course Program of Instruction
- Conduct practical exercises in a laboratory environment
- Conduct student study hall periods
- Provide tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class
- Incorporate/impart technical knowledge into training delivery
- Assess student knowledge, skills, and abilities to gauge student proficiency in the topic area
- Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities
- Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) to five (5) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
- In lieu of degree, four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO)
- Experience in adult learning with an emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.
- US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge and experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting common information technology systems, including Microsoft, Cisco, and Linux technologies
- Knowledge and experience with information security best practices including encryption, application security, penetration testing, and computer forensics
- File system internals
- OS Internals
- Incident Handling
- Software Reverse Engineering
- Intrusion Methodology or Network Analysis
- Programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
Preferred Certifications
- DoDD 8140.01/DoD 8570.01-M Level II certification
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
