Position Summary
CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENT FOR ADJUNCT FACULTY IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AT METROPOLITAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER MSU Denver’s Department of Computer Sciences is continuously seeking qualified educators for adjunct faculty roles. These positions are designed to supplement our full-time faculty in delivering high-quality education in Computer Science. Adjunct faculty may be called upon to teach specialized courses, contribute to curriculum development, or step in during periods of high enrollment. Applications for adjunct faculty positions are accepted on an ongoing basis. The timing and availability of roles fluctuate according to departmental needs and academic cycles. Candidates whose qualifications align most closely with our department’s requirements will be contacted for interviews as opportunities become available.
Required Qualifications
[Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field] OR [Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field AND five years of experience in the cybersecurity industry]. Ability for and experience in educating others Excellent technical aptitude Ingenuity and willingness to develop creative solutions to complex problems Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a rapidly changing environment Experience in implementing cybersecurity solutions Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the cybersecurity industry Higher education experience Relevant certifications (cybersecurity and/or networking) Familiarity with national cybersecurity educational frameworks
