As part of our fast-growing pace, we are currently looking for a Controller. Beingour accounting leader, you will be hands-on across all G&A functions while we scale our process, systems, and team. As a key leader, you will prioritize our core values of excellence and team development & culture. The ideal candidate will have both public accounting and industry experience. In this role, you’ll report directly to the CFO as a key member of his leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Oversee annual audits as the senior interface with external auditors
-Document company policies and procedures to insure efficient financial controls and workflows
-Ensure monthly close is finalized in a timely manner and all financial information is accurate and in compliance with GAAP
-Prepare & review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and investors on a timely and accurate basis
-Ensure detailed accounting documentation is prepared and maintained in support of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
-Oversee tax preparation and satisfying obligations for franchise, payroll, sales and business taxes. Ensure domestic and international tax compliance as the company continues to grow
-Optimize and streamline revenue operations, including partnering with Sales on proper deal structure and recognition
-Optimize and streamline spend processes, including ongoing vendor contract review
-Partner with Corporate Counsel for equity administration
-Prepare weekly cash forecasting for review and discussion with CFO & CEO
-Drive transition from Quickbooks to Netsuite, including supporting systems or modules
-Lead accounting team, collaborating with finance and and the broader organization, in support of global operations
-Ensure appropriate segregation of responsibilities within the accounting function and between other functions
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge across accounting team
Qualifications:
-SaaS accounting experience, with particular expertise in revenue recognition
-Public accounting experience, and minimum of 7 years leading accounting teams and controls in a fast-paced startup environment
-BA/BS degree in accounting; CPA required
-Team oriented and collaborative approach with the conviction to “hold the line” and to set the tone on accounting judgments
-Clear, concise, and constructive communicator
-Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce
-Strategic thinker with superior business acumen and people leadership skills
