Summary:
This role will be supporting the Computer & Information Systems Manager to ensure that all gaps are filled within the areas of A/V as it pertains to IT as well as all other hardware-based IT systems with basic software and networking tasks throughout the org, acting as "boots on the ground" in a live performance Theatre environment. A genuine love and appreciation for the performing arts is a requirement and experience in the performing arts either as an artist or production staff would help.  This position is pay grade 27, with a pay range of $31.19-46.79/hour, plus paid time off, medical, dental, vision, ltd, std and life insurance as well as a 403b with discretionary match.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide audio / visual ETS Conference room support

  • Set up all corporate meetings for between 10-50 people using professional quality audio and video equipment

  • Work with facilities teams for event setups

  • Perform AV system monitoring

  • Work with users for proper functionality and training

  • Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team for AV issues and setup

  • Work with Computer & Information Systems Manager in order to provide or order equipment for supplemental coverage as needed

  • Maintain AV equipment inventories across multiple conference rooms

  • Pulling permanent cat6 runs as well as running cabling for one-off use cases

  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may arise as environment requires

  • Onboard new employees creating user accounts, resource access and provisioning laptops as well as deactivating exiting employees

  • Act as a first level problem identification and resolution resource, including answering questions, providing advice, investigating, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users in solving data processing problems

  • Coordinate user problem resolution with other data processing sections

  • Track and report recurring problems

  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software

  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed with flexibility to take on new roles or responsibilities as the company evolves.


 


Position Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of local networking protocols and architecture. 

  • Basic understanding of VPN protocol L2TP/IPSEC. 

  • Help Desk experience. 

  • Network Printing experience. 

  • Mac and PC experience. 


·         Experience setting up Hybrid Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls.



  • Azure and Office 365 experience 

  • SSO-basic understanding 

  • A/V and live performance/stage experience 

  • Business cyber security tools experience. 

  • A decent aptitude for understanding and working on both hardware and software. 

  • Experience with SAAS (software as a service)

  • Scripting Knowledge of PowerShell (windows scripts) and Bash (Mac scripts) is a plus.


Education
Five years’ experience in Network Administration  or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
